You need: A computer, plain text editor and browser.

Create a plain text file named hobby.html. Type <h1>My next small win</h1> followed by <p>I made this page myself.</p>. Save it, open it in your browser, change the sentence and refresh. Notice the difference between the heading and paragraph.

You've done enough when: A local page whose text you can change and view.

If the browser shows code, check that the file ends in .html rather than .txt. Use a plain text editor, not a word processor.

Add three useful tips using an unordered list: place each tip inside <li> tags, with <ul> around the list.
Ask someone to read the page on your screen. Improve one confusing sentence and add a descriptive page title.
