What happens after you arrive?
Start with a First Try
Open a Hobby Guide and try its short beginner activity. Follow the Starter Path when you want to learn more, then choose a Project of your own.
Save an Update
Share a short update, photo, result or question directly from your hobby. Updates are public by default; choose “Just my progress” to keep yours private. A project is optional when you want a larger goal.

Your profile keeps your steps and updates together. Follow people, explore updates from your hobbies, and return to replies and encouragement in your notifications.

- Hobby Guide
- The whole introduction to a hobby: discover it, try it, learn, make something and share.
- First Try
- A short beginner activity with instructions and a clear point at which you have done enough.
- Starter Path
- A sequence of beginner activities that build on each other, at a pace that fits the hobby.
- Update
- Something you save privately or share publicly about your hobby: progress, a result, a question or a discussion.
- Optional Project
- An optional larger goal with a clear outcome, such as making a five-photo series.
